On March 26th 2008, The Rubettes, featuring Alan Williams, are recording for RTL in Koln - Germany, a TV Show called "The Ultimate Chart Show".

The Rubettes, featuring Alan Williams, have released a new album called "ON TOUR" which is available at concerts only, at the moment.

It will soon be available as downloads from "itunes" and from merchandising at www.rubettes.com

Alan Williams is planning to make his album called "TELEPHONE RING" (Album of the 80's) available soon, as downloads on "itunes".

As many of you know, Alan has fought long and hard
for some years now to preserve and protect the reputation and good
name of the Rubettes from those who wanted to destroy it by
masquerading as something they are not.

It was proved first in the
High Court in London and then again in the Appeals Court, which is
the highest court in England, that Bill Hurd, ex Rubettes keyboardist, had
been doing just that by allowing his band to be know and publicised
as the Rubettes, on many occasions.

Hopefully now all that will stop
and audiences won’t be cheated anymore by being told that the
people on stage, who nobody can recognise, are the Rubettes when it is
pretty obvious that they don’t look like them and don’t even sound like them.

I am told by Alan that Bill must also pay him the costs of all his
legal expenses and even more when they find out how much damage has
been done to Alan and the Rubettes reputation because of what Bill had been doing.

Alan is naturally delighted by the verdict of the Court which
agreed with him that what Bill was doing was wrong and should not be allowed to continue.

Let’s hope that all those people that booked Bill and
his band without knowing what they were getting, also agree and
don’t make the same mistake again.

DON'T FORGET : if you see the Rubettes advertised make sure you know
what you are getting before you buy a ticket.

You know what Alan, John, Mick and Mark look like, so don’t make the same mistake as
many have in the past and end up disappointed.
